Redeemer Edmonton just posted the following notice to their FB page:
Speak your mind and be heard at the LCC Town Hall Meeting tonight. All are invited to attend. Venue is Concordia Lutheran Church in Mill Woods (5420 19a Ave NW); meeting starts at 7pm.
Synod President Timothy Teuscher, BOD Administrator Dwayne Cleave, and Regional Pastor Robert Mohns will be there (and Chairman Arnold Drung via GoToMeeting) to discuss issues that affect the synod in general and our region in particular.

This is the town hall the LCC Board promised after they turned a promised town-hall meeting into an after-church social.
The BOD later apologized for the change and promised to hold an actual town-hall meeting. That meeting is scheduled for tonight @ 7-9 PM Edmonton time.

Why not wait until after the meeting to let folks know it happened? You sure want anyone to be there, letting us know the day of the meeting!!

@Carol – to be fair the Board did post a date, time, and location when they announced a follow-up town-hall – I was remiss in keeping track of the date and posting a reminder here a few days ago. I will note that the location was changed though this change was not widely broadcast (at least not where I could see it).
Changing locations w/out a sufficient notice to the potential attendees is also a no-no in my books.
When a notice from Redeemer Edmonton was posted where I could see it, that led to this post.

This is more like a “teaser” for future ANO / Lutheran Watch columns discussing what actually went on at the LCC BOD Town Hall meeting, how many attended, how it was managed, etc.
