Canadian Lutheran Gets a New Look
The on-line version of LCC’s magazine “The Canadian Lutheran” has been given a new look. I like the new look and wish them well in their future.
“Comments are Closed”
Unfortunately, every article I’ve looked is followed by the same statement “Comments are closed.” Even pingbacks are disallowed, so I guess that’s the end of any commentary on LCC’s various web properties.
LCC’s Communications Director Position is Open
“LCC Info Digest” relates that Chris Pelletier and LCC have parted ways after only a year.
The communications department in Lutheran Church–Canada is in a state of transition, following the departure of Christopher Pelletier as communications director.
“We wish Christopher God’s blessings as he pursues other opportunities,” noted LCC leadership on the transition. Pelletier joined LCC staff in May 2018. His last day was May 7, 2019.
Lutheran Church–Canada will be undertaking a search for a new communications director soon. In the meantime, interim plans are being put into place to ensure continuity of communications services. The communications director’s email (communications@lutheranchurch.ca) will continue to be monitored.
Given the start and stop dates are 12 months apart its possible the position was offered as a 12 month contract and one or both sides decided not to renew it. Chris’s linkedin profile has LCC Comms Director as his current position so I’m not sure where he is now. Working for LCC with everything that’s going on had to be a challenge and I wish him all the Lord’s best wherever he ends up.
