Looks like I missed this week’s “Fun Friday” and got called on it 🙂 so here you go:
On a more serious note, my personal observation is that it’s more the adults that think the youth want “excitement”. I think what young people are looking for is authenticity – namely that what the older folks practice aligns with what they preach. And this makes sense, because if the older folks don’t believe what they preach enough to put their neck on the line and follow through, the message is pretty clear to all who have eyes to see that they don’t really believe what they’re saying.
