LCC Convention’s Response to the CEF Scandal

Following is a clip of the 2017 Synod convention passing Resolution 17.03.06 to Decline to Discuss CEF from Committee 3.  Committee 3’s proposal confined itself to how the ABC District’s CCAA proceeding was being overseen by the courts and left out the ecclesiastical aspects (namely telling people their money was safe when they knew it wasn’t) and the people that were involved in it. Had this information been provided I think the vote would’ve gone a bit differently.

The resolution takes place during Session 5 between 46:50 and 49:15
