CEF/DIL: A Prayer

From the CEF Depositors Forum:

“Heavenly Father, when one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers with it.  Father, we pray for & with our LWML sisters in the Alberta – British Columbia District, many of whose retirement life savings & LWML Society deposits have been devastated & lost by the collapse of the the ABC District Church Extension Fund.  Father we pray that You would help & support the devastated widows & orphans who are especially dear to You, too embarrassed to let their plight be known publicly.  We pray that You would bring to repentance those clergy & lay leaders in the church who lost more than $70 million of depositors’ retirement life savings, & that the church might produce fruit in keeping with repentance.  And we pray for Your continued blessing on the God-ordained work of the Alberta Securities Commission investigating this alleged crime.  Lord, in Your mercy” …
