The Monitor’s website has been updated today with articles 275-283 and this is my layman’s summary.

275. Order – Taxation of Accounts – filed December 7, 2017

• Approval of the various professional services fees.

276. Affidavit of Cara Thompson

• Various procedural matters related to the Representative Actions,
• Certification that the procedural steps taken to date are compliant,
• Substitution of representatives for a couple of estates,
• Ordered that the District Class actions may continue
• Extension of time for service of the class actions to March 15, 2018 (AB) and March 23, 2018 (BC)

277. Filed Affidavit of Glen Mitchell

Glen Mitchell is the chair of the District Subcommittee and represents the CEF Representative Action:

• Composition of the District Subcommittee
• Definition of Terms
• Reference to a chronologies of proceedings
• List of defendants that have been served including additional defendants added Dec 16, 2016
• All known Defense counsel has been served on behalf of their clients
• List of people that are not represented and have whose addresses are unknown – this list includes the current ABC DP.
• Discussion of the implications of Shepherd’s Village Ministries bankruptcy
• Additional time needed to serve the 12 unrepresented defendants and address service deficiencies and other procedural matters.
• Nov 13, 2017 – Letter from Higgerty Law to various counsels pertaining to service for their clients
• Letters from various counsels accepting service on their clients behalf

278. Filed Affidavit of Erinn Wilson – December 11, 2017

• Affidavit how Erinn served various defendants and the status of various services
• The service list
• Application for an order seeking certain remedies from the court including a statement that 57% of the class members are over 75 years old.
• Filing pertaining to representative plaintiffs for the action
• Client profiles for various representative plaintiffs and their stories
• List of notices that were read by the various email addresses
• Request to post documents to the Lutheran CCAA website
• More letters pertaining to accepting or declining service
• Correspondence about changes in the District Subcommittee

279. Filed Affidavit of Erinn Wilson – December 12, 2017

• Statement that notice for service for various defendants will expire Dec 15, 2017 and a list of defendants that will not’ve been served by then including Shepherd’s Village, which may be under a stay due to bankruptcy proceedings.
• Asking for an extension for time of service

280. Sworn Affidavit of Erinn Wilson – December 11, 2017

• Duplicate of #279 except the clerk’s stamp is missing

281. Brief of Law – District Subcommittee – December 11, 2017

• Application for an extension of time to service all the defendants
• Explanation why certain actions weren’t taken
